We are moving into word families. Most of the children have mastered letter sounds I am so proud of them.
Introduce High Frequency words
Segmenting two to three sounds in a word.
Comprehension – sequence or events in the story
Math:
Working on number quantities 0-15
One to one correspondence
Order numbers 0-20
Counting 0-30
Writing:
Draw a pictures and label parts
Journals are beginning this week. Please make sure the children are using their letter sounds and word wall words to communicate their ideas. DO NOT WRITE IT FOR THEM!! Phonetic writing is encouraged.
Please make sure you are signing your child’s calendar every day. If they do not have a stamp or have colored their behavior they WILL NOT HAVE FUN FRISDAY!!!
